Our client is a successful property management company who have, since their inception ten years ago established a niche in the short term serviced accommodation sector. The company was started by an inspiration to provide more appealing accommodation to business travellers. What started off as a small, home-based, 1 person business has grown to have over 30 employees.
Our client is seeking a Customer Service & Reservations Consultant i.e. a 'Melbourne Home Expert' to join their company in Port Melbourne, VIC with the potential to earn an attractive package (negotiable salary + super + incentives).
The primary purpose of this position is to convert customer accommodation enquiries into bookings.
Reporting directly to The Sales and Marketing Manager some of your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring excellent customer service is maintained
- Quoting prices to customers and running through benefits of types of accommodation
- Having an excellent property knowledge so you can match the property to client's needs
- Marketing responsibilities, such as visiting key clients, initiating and running promotions, maintaining and updating website and any other ad hoc marketing
- Providing plenty of your own energy and bubbly personality to a fun environment
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a role that requires customer interaction. Sales or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
