They provide services to employers, employees, contractors and franchisees resolve disputes through ADR and formal arbitration across Australia. They specialise in Fair Work employment lawyers, Fair Work claims, employer advisors, communications and resolutions, and now offer employees compensation advisory services.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an Industrial Relations Consultant to join their company in Spring Hill, Brisbane, with the potential to earn a generous negotiable salary | based on experience. 

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain and grow client groups through regular business development and assist the directors to manage client relationships.

Reporting to the Directors some of your responsibilities include:

  • Maintain relationships with clients & provide complex analysis of issues
  • Implement the agreed professional development plan & attend training 
  • Diagnose prospects of success for dismissal and discrimination claims, industrial disputes and underpayments;
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Prepare for hearings at the Fair Work Commission, the QIRC and QCAT

To be successful in this role you will have a Law Degree or other, with a focus in Industrial Relations or 2+ years equivalent experience acting as an industrial advocate

Additionally, to be considered for this position you will have experience in filing and advocating dismissal claims and discrimination claims. 

You will also have PC proficiency & Google Drive skills with outstanding telephone manner and skills dealing with a very high caseload and highly schedulised environment.

You must be a highly organised person with the ability to display attention to detail in fast-paced environment, including clear communication, as well as being dependable and professional.
