The Opportunity


Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable/ Credit Controller to join their company in Port Melbourne, Vic, with the potential to earn $55,000pa, with this figure to be dependent on experience.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure accounts receivable duties are completed accurately. 

As a valued member of the finance team, some of your responsibilities will include:


  • Ensuring accuracy of monthly aged trial balance for accounts receivable.
  • Responsible for allocation of cash receipts
  • Ensure timely collection of customer accounts & attending to problem accounts and/or overdue amounts.
  • Works closely with Customer Services, to address any complaint or claims that are
  • overdue for approval / processing.
  • Processes and researches account applications, recommends appropriate credit
  • limits.
  • Perform the daily bank reconciliations

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills (Fluent English), with 3+ years experience in a previous accounts receivable/ credit controller position. 

The successful applicant will possess a high level of attention to detail, have excellent time management and enjoys working autonomously.
