Our client is a family run winemaking business based in the Murray Darling region. The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Grower Liaison Officer to join their company in Karadoc, VIC, with the potential to earn up to $70,000 per annum | Salary $70,000 - $90,000 including Superannuation + Car Allowance 

The primary purpose of this role is to actively participate and co-operate in a team environment to provide a high standard of customer relations and ongoing development for to the company.

Reporting directly to the Senior Winemaker some of your responsibilities include:


  • Acting as a coordinator between growers and winery management, in conjunction with Senior Winemaker
  • Inspecting and assessing the berry condition of grapes in the vineyards of growers and suppliers
  • Close communication of the outcomes of inspections and assessment to all parties concerned
  • All aspects of grape supply including planning, contract management, grower practices, and timely delivery
  • Pursuit of business development activities through participation in various industry bodies and government programs 
 
To be successful in this role you will have a minimum of 12 months experience in wine processing with a sound knowledge of winery operations. Additionally, a qualification in Oenology and Viticulture or equivalent is essential for this position.

 
The successful candidate will also have strong computer skills, including MS Office and hold a current drivers licence and first aid certificate.
