The Team

We are proud to have a strong team of experienced professionals working in all corporate service functions. These teams work alongside the legal staff of Shine to progress and grow our practice via our 40+ offices across Australia. We now have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Analyst, based in our Melbourne CBD branch, to support the law firm with a difference that always aims for the best results for its clients.

The Role

As a member of our Service Desk team, you will be providing remote, phone-based level 1/level 2 IT support to all Shine branches nationally, as well as providing onsite support to offices throughout Victoria as required.

Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a range of end-user technologies including Microsoft Office, Exchange/Office365, office printing, and scanning
  • Performing user account administration using Microsoft Active Directory
  • Provisioning mobile phones along with imaging and deploying desktop and laptop PC’s
  • As required from time to time, provide assistance in the delivery of IT projects across Shine's branches nationally
  • Engaging with Shine's branches to deliver a high quality IT service experience
  • Maintaining high performance against user satisfaction and incident resolution metrics

Required Skills

  • Drivers licence and own reliable transport
  • Significant experience in providing high quality service desk and desktop support in a fast paced, customer-centric environment
  • Exposure to ITIL processes such as Incident Management
  • Microsoft Certification in Workstation or Server
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, excelling in technical communication to non-technical users
  • Must be able to work under pressure and to a high standard with exceptional attention to detail
  • Background in providing hardware support is an advantage
  • After hours work will be required as part of this role
  • Exposure to Cherwell ITSM Software
