About the Opportunity

Ausmar Group has an exciting opportunity for a New Home Estimator to join their team currently based in Maroochydore, QLD

Working closely with the Sales Manager, Supervisors and Sub-Contractors and playing an integral role in the sales process, you will be responsible for managing home estimating on fixed cost, full custom designed, residential construction projects. 

More specifically, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Thorough and accurate material and labour take offs;
  • Sourcing the best options for supplier pricing;
  • Providing supplier purchase orders and documentation to build the home;
  • Liaising with designers, suppliers and trades teams regarding pricing and supply issues; and
  • Providing price variation options and design changes where required.

To be successful in the role, you will have extensive, proven experience as an Estimator within a residential construction space including new home pricing, and a solid knowledge of the building industry, specifically as it relates to residential construction. In addition, experience using Databuild is a must.

You will need to have a strong understanding of all trades and materials used throughout a residential construction project and as such, any trade qualifications and/or experience will also be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to self-train and upskill, have excellent communication skills, and enjoys working in a team environment. 

Please note: Candidates must have a current driver's licence.
